The Meera House Is Covered in Grass

The Meera House designed by Guz Architects and built in Singapore is the kind of building that shows you how to make the most of the available space. The neighboring buildings of the Meera are fairly close so the house has two solid walls on each side meant to preserve privacy as much as possible while the front and back of the house will get you access to the warmth of the sun, the ocean view and the grass-covered roof. That’s right, the Meera House is covered in grass but that’s not the only surprising element of this marvelous design. Just check out the staircase or that swimming pool which is separated by a glass wall from the lower level of the house and you’ll understand what I mean. What do you like best? Uma construção ecológica e orgânica baseada em desenhos inspirados na natureza, em equilíbrio com seu ecossistema.

Os clientes, um jovem casal com dois filhos, que após viverem numa casa convencional quiseram mudar para uma integrada à natureza. O terreno com topografia ascendente, é limitada ao sul, a norte e ao leste por enormes edifícios. Pelo lado oeste possibilita uma ampla visão das montanhas.
